Jake, Jean(it's actually Emily) is a good person because she knew it was wrong at the start, but she really wanted a friend. I think she caould've possibly made a better choise, but oh well.
Olivia, Emily's not being a sinner would have changed the story because she just would have shooed off Lottie when she met her, rather than letting it escalate to this level.
Tyler, I think that Lottie had used her "deaf and blind" trick before because she played her part perfectly. I don't know about you but I would wince or something if a pop gun with of with out warning by my ear.
Sarah, Emily steals (well actually helps steal) in the ten-cent store when she knows that it is wrong because firstly she really admires Lottie and second because she knows that if she doesn't Lottie would get back at her some how.
Why do you think the people gave Lottie candy when she shoplifted? Why wouldn't they have put her in the detention center no matter how much misery and sorrow they felt for her?
1. Do you think that she would have really commited suicide if her parents continued to argue? Back up your opinion with facts from the story.
2.Do you think Lottie was a homeless hoodlum, or do you think she really had a family? Give examples of behavioral issues, or descriptions in the story.
Silvia, Emily has bad character because she has trouble making friends due to her being rude or just mouthing. Her parents have a lot to do with it because they are argueing all the time and they give her no attention.
Sarah,I think Emily still goes and steals becasue she wants a friend, and she doesn't want Lottie to hate her or something.
Olivia, I think the story wouldn't change much if Emily was a good person because maybe Lottie would still want to be her friend maybe.. but still, lifting was a big thing in the story with Lottie Jump. So it really depends.
Sylvia, I think that Emily was a bad character in the first place because her parents (yes, they did have something to do with it)let her ger her way by throwing tantrums
Jenny: I do not think that emily minded Lottee taking her mother's things because emily didn't do anything about it, and if she did care, she would've done something.
Kendall, Ithink that Emily wouln't commit suicide if her parents didn't stop arguing becausea life is not somethting to take away on account of another person.
Rachel, I think in a way I would feel bad for all the sick people if I was walking by because I'd imagine both me and Emily have a conscience. And it starts to drag you throught the mud eventually.
Tyler, I think Emily has these random outburst with her friends because she feels that she needs to have solitude with herself. Because if a person divides his/herself from more populated positions to becoming very independent people, the more they feel the need to be alone. It's like turning into a hermit almost, besides the fact that you still have to associate with people on a daily basis.
Tyler, I do think that Lottie had use the "deaf and blind" method before because it worked. I think that she might have tried other methods before coning up with this brilliant method.
Jake, i do think that Emily is a good person because she tries to act better, yet she has those moments when everyone is against her. Like when she got blamed for eating the cake when Lottie stole it.
Connor- Emily's mom probably pictures whoever (lottie) stole the cake like a hobo because probably the first thought in her head was that hobo's can't afford much, and people with money probably wouldn't have to steal.
Joseph- I think that Emily is very embarrased about her outbursts, but not at the time. Probably when she is doing them, she just wants to make her point. But I am pretty sure that she wouldn't like them afterwards.

Do you think that Lottie can change her reputation as a bad person? If so,how long do you think it would take for her "friends" to accept her?
Tyler,
I think Emily has these random outburst with her friends because she feels that she needs to have solitude with herself. Because if a person divides his/herself from more populated positions to becoming very independent people, the more they feel the need to be alone. It's like turning into a hermit almost, besides the fact that you still have to associate with people on a daily basis.
